Recruit Georgia
Recruit Georgia: “The senior from Carver-Columbus looks to have long arms and quick hips which allows him to break on the pass quickly. He has solid length at 5’11”, so he can go up high and break up passes with most receivers. McFolley is a good cover cornerback but also quick to step in the run. Getting into a college weight lifting program will help a lot with his tackling and block shedding but the 162 pound cornerback is an aggressive player and plays the game with a certain degree of swagger. The ballhawking SR had his fair share of picks last year and his excellent speed makes it hard for him to get beat deep.”
Nick Beason | 5’9″ | 165 | Slotback | Shaw HS (Columbus GA)
Committed on 01/29/17

Offers: Kennesaw St. (PWO, Morehead State (Scholarship)
Hudl/Highlights
Recruit Georgia: “Beason has very good balance and shrugs off tackles while maintaining his feet with ease. He showcases really impressive hands on deep passes which is an interesting dimension to his game. Beason has a lot of tools and versatility as a pass receiver is unique. Beason looks like an ideal slot/running back to be used in a spread option system.”
Jack Ness | 6’0″ | 212 | LB | Buford HS (Buford GA)
Committed 01/27/17.

Offers: Kennesaw St. (PWO), Gardner-Webb (Scholarship), Tennessee Tech (Scholarship)
Hudl/Highlights
Recruit Georgia
Recruit Georgia: “Ness is an instinctive player who snuffs out the play quicker than most linebacker prospects. The Buford senior plays low and fast, which allows him to really explode into a tackle. He has a great motor and his strong fundamentals makes him a very reliable football player. Ness could be immediate player on specials teams his first year in college.”
Tyrik Mitchell | 5’9″ | 161 | CB | Jackson HS (Jackson GA)
Committed on 01/31/17
Is a preferred walk-on.
Offers: Kennesaw St. (PWO), Western Kentucky (Scholarship), Campbell (Scholarship), Tennessee St. (Scholarship), Fort Valley St., Reinhardt, University of Cumberlands
Hudl/Highlights
Recruit Georgia
Recruit Georgia: “Mitchell does a great job of square himself up on passes and making a play on the ball. He does a good job of closing on the receiver and he is a solid tackler out on the flats. Great reaction timing, Mitchell swipes the ball routinely out of the receivers hands.”
