Owls Add Two Way Walk-on
Kennesaw State has gotten a preferred-walk on commitment from Gordon Lee High School’s Caleb O’Neal per NorthwestGeorgiaNews.com. O’Neal played QB/S/LB in HS and according to the article linked above, it’s still undecided as to which side of the ball he will play on.
From the Northwest Georgia News: “”A bunch of (colleges) kind of came out of nowhere and started talking to me,” O’Neal explained. “Kennesaw State has been sort of my dream school and I always said that if they could find a way to help me out, I’d go there. I’m just glad it all worked out.””
“I chose (Kennesaw) partially because it was closer to home than Cumberlands, which was my other top choice,” O’Neal said. “And if I was going just to be going to school somewhere, it would be (Kennesaw). That was really the deciding factor, but I really like the coaches and the facilities (at Kennesaw), so it all just kind of worked out that way.”
