DETROIT – Kennesaw State women’s lacrosse could not overcome a sluggish second quarter, as a furious six-goal rally came up just short in a 17-16 road loss at Detroit Mercy on Tuesday afternoon from Titan Field. The Owls trailed 17-10 with under five minutes to play when they scored six unanswered to close within a goal with 42 seconds on the clock, but could not win the final draw control and get off a potential tying shot.
