Same Old Story: Trey Simpson Picks up CUSA Freshman of the Week

KENNESAW, Ga. – In what’s becoming a weekly tradition for Kennesaw State, an Owl was named Conference USA Men’s Basketball Freshman of the Week as Trey Simpson was honored by the league office for the opening week, it was announced on Monday. This marks the 14th time in KSU’s 19 total weeks as a member of CUSA that have had the conference freshman of the week, after picking up the award in 13 out of 18 weeks in the 2024-25 season.
