Kennesaw State Spring Game Preview
The Kennesaw State Spring game is this Friday and it officially kicks off the 2017 season. In 2016, the Owls notched a 8-3 record and were one game away from winning the Big South Conference title.
So this year, the Owls will look to not only win the conference, but compete for and win a national championship. Here’s what to expect from the Owls on Friday night.
The format
The team will be split into offense vs. defense and head coach Brian Bohannon has a unique way of scoring the scrimmage. Here’s a look at the scoring system.

So there should be quite a bit of scoring from both sides at Fifth Third Bank Stadium.

The Owls have 17 returning starters and seven of those players have earned all-conference honors last year. Here’s a quick look at the Owls’ key players to watch on Friday night.

For those who can’t make it to the game, it will be televised on ESPN 3. You can also watch it through your mobile device on the Watch ESPN app. Brian Giffin, Tutan Reyes, Art Eckman, and Meggi Hetzel will have the call.

Kickoff for the spring game is at 7 p.m. ET. The gates will open at 6 p.m. and parking lots will open at 5 p.m.
