$1.00 Hotdogs, Free Trading Cards for Kids This Baseball Season
KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State Department of Athletics has announced the 2017 promotions schedule for the defending 2016 ASUN regular-season champion baseball club, which opens its season with the Atlanta Challenge hosting Western Michigan, BYU and Marshall on Feb. 17-19 at Stillwell Stadium.
Baseball fans have plenty of opportunities to experience in-game promotions throughout the 33-home-game slate, which includes $1 hot dogs, kids running the bases, trading cards, and plenty of sponsorship prizes.
The Owls’ marketing department will offer $1 hot dogs on Family Sundays, which also allows kids to run the bases for every home Sunday game of the season. KSU also offers $1 hot chocolate and coffee all of February and March games, and will have a “cold game discount” for online pre-sale tickets marked down to $3 for February home games if the temperature at first pitch is forecasted below 50 degrees.
Another opportunity fans have this spring is to collect trading cards for every home Tuesday contest, as the first 150 kids 16-and-under will receive a pack of three KSU Trading Cards. Twenty-one cards are available throughout the season and fans who collect all 15 cards, and attend the May 18 game versus FGCU, will be eligible to win a grand prize.
In-game sponsorship prizes are available by Zaxby’s, Bojangles‘ and Copeland’s. Details regarding all three sponsor promotions are below:
- Zaxby’s Hit it Here Sign
- If the Zaxby’s sign in right field is hit on the fly during the bottom of any inning, everyone in the crowd wins a free boneless wings meal from Zaxby’s. All you have to do is present your ticket stub or season ticket card at the Zaxby’s on Chastain Road. Limit one item per customer.
- Bojangles – Owls on Fire 10K promotion
- If the Kennesaw State pitchers strikeout ten opponents, fans can take their ticket stub or season ticket card to the Bojangles on Cherokee Street for a FREE 4 piece Supreme Snack! The offer is only good for 24 hours after the game has completed. Limit one item per customer.
- Copeland’s Home Run Inning
- If the Owls hit a home run in the 6th inning, everyone in the stadium can claim a free appetizer or dessert coupon for Copeland’s of New Orleans. Coupon is good for one week after the game.
Kennesaw State also offers promotions for specific games throughout the Owls’ home slate this spring, including Mardis Gras Celebration, Student Appreciation, Sturgis’ Birthday and Bark in the Park.
