Kennesaw State Baseball Honors 10 Members as Part of Senior Day at The Shake

Kennesaw, Ga. – Kennesaw State University honored 10 members of it’s baseball program as part of Senior Day on Saturday at Stillwell stadium.

The members were honored during the Owls 13-3 loss against FGCU in their regular-season finale.

The newly added members of the Black and Gold were Corey Greeson, Brock Turner, Jeremy Howell, Chris Erwin, Gabe Friese, Turner Watkins, Erich Stahl, Kevin Simmons, Travis Dean, and Kyle Heckathorn.

With the loss the Owls finished the regular season 23-30 overall record and 10-11 in conference play, while FGCU finished 37-17 overall and 13-8 in the ASUN.

One of the bright spots during the game was the long two-run homerun by Owls freshman catcher Daniel Seres which cleared the left-field wall in the second inning. It was Seres’s first collegiate homerun.

The Eagles finished the day with 14 hits and 13 runs.

Next up for the Owls is the ASUN tournament in Deland, Fl on Wednesday.
