Kennesaw State Falls to No. 2 MTSU in CUSA Quarterfinals Wednesday

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Kennesaw State’s inaugural season as a member of Conference USA came to a close as the No. 7-seeded Owls fell to reigning league champion, No. 2 Middle Tennessee, 73-46 in the conference quarterfinals on Wednesday afternoon inside Propst Arena.

KSU (13-18, 7-11 CUSA) fought a resilient second half, outscoring the Blue Raiders (25-7, 16-2 CUSA) 38-32 but an efficient first half from MTSU made the difference in the contest.
