KSU Travels to FGCU for Showdown of Final Perfect ASUN Records Saturday

FORT MYERS, Fla. – The Kennesaw State Owls (8-9, 4-0 Atlantic Sun Conference) continue their Florida road trip against the FGCU Eagles (14-4, 4-0 ASUN) Saturday in a matchup of the final two unbeaten ASUN women’s basketball squads.

KSU has won each of its last four games this season and is searching for its first-ever victory in Fort Myers against the Eagles. Kennesaw State is on a program-record six-game ASUN regular season win streak dating back to last season.

The Black and Gold are on a program-best 4-0 start to the ASUN schedule after outscoring Stetson 40-18 in the second half Thursday en route to a 63-45 win. Four-straight victories for the Owls are the most under head coach Octavia Blue.

FGCU entered the week at No. 5 on College Insider’s women’s basketball mid-major top 25 poll.
