Owls Add Perkins Carden as Director of Operations

KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State men’s basketball added its newest member to the staff this summer as Perkins Carden will be the new Director of Operations for the Owls, head coach Antoine Pettway announced on Tuesday.

Carden is making a reunion with Coach Pettway after serving at Alabama as a team manager from 2019-21, and the head team manager from 2022-23. After he graduated in May of 2023 with a degree in marketing, Carden stayed with the Crimson Tide as a graduate assistant. In that role, he helped in several areas including assisting the director of operations with travel, scheduling, budget management, on-campus recruiting and other duties. Alabama reached the postseason twice during his time as a GA, including the program’s first Final Four appearance in 2024.
