Owls Fall in Series Finale at Stetson

DELAND, Fla. – Kennesaw State (17-13, 7-5 Atlantic Sun Conference) fell in its series finale against the Stetson Hatters (22-10, 9-3 ASUN), 7-2, Sunday afternoon at Melching Field at Conrad Park.

Right fielder Nick Hassan led the way offensively with three hits and one RBI for the Owls. He was joined in the multi-hit category with Isaac Bouton and Spencer Hanson.

Starter Smith Pinson pitched the first four innings allowing just two hits in his outing.

The Owls snapped Stetson’s eight-game win streak Saturday night in game two, where head coach Ryan Coe recorded his 40th conference win.
