The First Three Owls Home Games in 2017 Will Air Live on Peachtree TV

KENNESAW, Ga. — Kennesaw State announced Wednesday it has extended an agreement with Peachtree TV (WPCH) to air live football games in 2017. Along with Wednesday’s announcement, kickoff times for the first three home games were unveiled.

The three home games on Peachtree TV this season are the home-opener versus Tennessee Tech on Sept. 9 at 7 p.m., the North Greenville game on Sept. 30 at 3:30 p.m., and the Texas Southern game on Oct. 7 at 7 p.m.

Those games will be produced by the Department of Athletics’ Owl Network and shown live on Peachtree TV, which reaches nearly 6.2 million people (2.38 million households) in the greater Atlanta area – the nation’s ninth-largest media market. Those outside the Peachtree TV viewing area will have the ability to stream the games live on computers and mobile devices.

“We are thrilled to have the Owls back on Peachtree TV for a second season,” said Assistant AD for Communications and Broadcasting Mike DeGeorge. “This is an important local partnership as we continue to spread the KSU brand in the southeast. It allows us, through our own Owl Network productions, a tremendous opportunity to not only showcase our football program, but the entire university.”

TV and kickoff times for the remaining three home games, which are Big South Conference games, will be announced as part of the conference’s television package later this summer. In addition to the television coverage, every game of the 2017 season can be heard live on the flagship radio home for the Owls, ESPN Radio 1230 The Fan 2.

Season tickets for the 2017 campaign are now on sale for $99 – that’s less than $17 per game, plus your Owls Fund donation. For ticket information, visit KSUOwls.com/tickets or call 470-KSU-OWLS.
