KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State men’s basketball is ready for another tough challenge, as the Owls will play in a Thanksgiving week tournament with perhaps the best field of mid-major teams in the nation in the Western Slam which runs from Thursday-Saturday. Three of the four teams in the event are currently ranked in the top 25 in the CollegeInsider Mid-Major Top 25 Poll (No. 3 UC Irvine, No. 21 Towson, No. 25 Kennesaw State) while Kent State is the first team out of the rankings.
